" Get "

I would like to share some phrases which base on the word " get " .

I think that are able to help us effectively when we are writing . It can also help me to remember this phrases when I type these on my blog .

1.get a change out of sth: to get o strong feeling of excitement or pleasure from sth.

2.get a load of sb/sth : used to tell sb to look at or listen to sb/sth.

3.get a rise out of sb : to make sb react in an angry way by saying sth that you know will annoy them ,especially as a joke .

4.get above yourself: to have too high an opinion of yourself.

5.get along : to leave a place .

6.get at sb : to keep criticizing.

7.get at sb/sth : to reach sb/sth ; to gain access to sb/sth.

8.get back to sb : to speak or write to sb again later , especially in order to give a reply.

9.get down to sth : to begin to do sth ; to give serious attention to sth .

10.get lost : a rude way of telling sb to go away , or of refusing sth .

11.get on with sb : to have a friendly relationship with sb .

12.get over : to deal with or gain control of .

13. get rid of sb/sth : to make yourself free of sb/sth that is annoying you or that you do not want ; to throw sth away .

14. get up : to get out of bed ; to make sb get out of bed .

15. get the hang of sth : to learn how to do or to use sth ; to understand sth.

16. get to sb : to annoy or affect sb.
